WHAT DO I DO WITH THE TURKEY STOCK?
1. Choose a roasting pan that has a rack to lift the whole turkey, bone-in breast or boneless breast off the bottom of the pan.
2. Place any desired vegetables around the roast. The most popular are cut-up onions, carrots and celery.
3. Now pour the turkey stock into the bottom of the roasting pan.
4. Roast for the desired amount of time.
5. Strain pan drippings from the vegetables and add to the gravy.
6. Serve and enjoy!
WARMING COOKED BONE-IN TURKEY BREAST
1. Remove cooked turkey breast from the oven 20-30 minutes before you are going to heat it. This will ensure your turkey heats evenly.
2. Preheat your oven to 325°.
3. Place your turkey in a deep baking dish and pour either 1/2 an inch of water or your preferred stock into the dish. This will keep your turkey nice and moist while it heats up.
4. Cover your turkey tightly in aluminum foil and place in the oven.
5. Let your turkey heat up for about 8-10 minutes per pound or for your 6-8 pound breast about 45 minutes to an hour, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°. Every oven is different, so we always recommend using a meat thermometer to ensure that the bird is safe to eat.
6. Slice and Enjoy!
Please Note: These instructions are meant as guidelines only. Every oven is slightly different and temperature settings will vary. Overheating any of these products will affect their quality.
