Our plump All Natural Whole Capon Chicken is about 6 - 8 pounds. Their meat is more tender and flavorful than that of any other chicken of the same weight. Capons are great for roasting but can also be used for braises and poaching.

1 Capon - 5-7 Average Portions
Each Capon ranges between 5 1/2 lbs. to 7 lbs.

Preheat oven. Roast at 350 degrees for approximately 2 hours - 2 hour and 30 minutes. Check to see that internal temperature in the thigh joint reaches 160 degrees. Let rest for about 4-6 minutes before carving. Consult Cooking ABC's for more information on cooking times.
