ROASTING POULTRY
RECIPE SUGGESTION: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add onions, seasonings, ketchup or other ingredients. Place chicken mixture in an uncovered loaf pan. Roast for approximately 30-45 minutes. Consult Cooking ABC’s for more information on cooking times. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Low Calorie Method: In a baking dish, add a small amount of water to the bottom of the tray containing the meatballs. Roast about 18-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
SAUTEING
RECIPE SUGGESTION: To make chicken meatballs, add onions, seasonings, ketchup or other ingredients. Heat oil in large skillet to medium-high heat. Cook on all sides for approximately 10-12 minutes. Consult Cooking ABC’s for more information on cooking times. Low Calorie Method: In a baking dish, add meatballs and a small amount of water to the bottom of the pan. Roast about 18-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
